Join our Support organization as a Principal Performance Test Engineer, focusing on Fusion Load Testing. You will be instrumental in delivering post-sales support and solutions to Oracle customers, acting as their primary advocate. This role involves resolving complex technical inquiries and troubleshooting challenges related to our Electronic Support Services.

You will be the key point of contact for customers, fostering strong relationships with Oracle Support and providing expert advice to internal teams on intricate customer situations and escalated issues.

As a Principal Support Engineer, your strategic technical support will ensure the highest customer satisfaction. You will leverage automated technology and instrumentation to diagnose, document, and resolve customer issues efficiently. Expect to be a go-to expert for solving extremely complex and critical customer problems, with potential for on-site customer visits.

Key duties include taking a senior role in understanding and executing various load, performance, and non-functional testing components. You will be responsible for gathering performance non-functional requirements, creating and reviewing performance test plans, and developing performance test scripts using OATS. Automating load testing with tools like OATS or LoadRunner is essential, alongside strong debugging skills and the ability to create and execute load test cases.

Develop comprehensive web-based application test plans, strategies, scenarios, and test cases. Collaborate with functional teams to coordinate testing efforts, adopt innovative technologies, and continuously improve your skills. You will also take ownership of training and mentoring team members.

This role requires 8 to 10+ years of relevant working experience, with a qualification of BE, BTech, MCA, or equivalent preferred. Other qualifications with adequate experience will be considered.

Primary skills include extensive experience as a Testing Tech Lead for Oracle Fusion SaaS Applications, with mandatory performance testing experience using OATS or Load Runner. You should be adept at formulating and developing effective test architectures (manual/automated/load) and responsible for test strategy formulation. A solid technical background in Oracle Application Testing Suite (OATS), QTP, and Winrunner is necessary, along with hands-on experience in performing and reviewing functional and non-functional testing.

Secondary skills involve basic knowledge of programming languages such as Python, Shell scripting, or PERL, and optionally, web development languages like HTML, CSS, Jscript, or REST frameworks. Expertise in specific areas like SaaS Fusion Apps, EBSO, PeopleSoft, Hyperion, or JD Edwards is advantageous. A strong understanding of current industry-wide quality and test processes, tools, and techniques is expected.
