Join our team as a Principal Network Engineer, where you'll architect, deploy, and manage robust L3/L4 network services across diverse data center and cloud environments. This role offers significant influence, leading complex projects and driving innovation in automation and observability.

You will mentor junior engineers, contribute to strategic decisions, and collaborate with SRE, platform, and security teams to ensure secure, compliant, and highly available network solutions. Your impact will be measurable, influencing both immediate team and broader group outcomes.

Lead the design of sophisticated network topologies, including IP addressing, routing policies (BGP/OSPF/IS-IS), and EVPN/VXLAN fabrics for on-premise and cloud environments. Implement and optimize cloud networking constructs like VPC/VNet, routing tables, and load balancing solutions.

Engineer robust security controls, including segmentation, ACLs, and encryption, aligned with zero-trust principles. Develop and maintain automation frameworks using Terraform and Ansible, incorporating CI/CD practices and Infrastructure as Code. Implement comprehensive monitoring and telemetry solutions to define and track SLIs/SLOs.

Collaborate closely with SRE, platform, and security teams on architecture, incident response, and capacity planning. Contribute to cross-functional standards and architectures, while mentoring junior engineers through code and document reviews.

Demonstrated experience in designing, implementing, and operating L3/L4 network services across data centers and cloud platforms. Proven ability to lead moderately complex projects and drive automation and observability initiatives.

Proficiency in network design principles, including routing protocols, fabric technologies (EVPN/VXLAN), and SDN. Experience with cloud networking constructs and security controls, as well as automation tools like Terraform and Ansible, is essential.
