We are looking for a visionary Principal Infrastructure Architect to spearhead the design, development, and enhancement of our network monitoring and observability platforms. This pivotal role ensures comprehensive end-to-end visibility, guarantees performance, and enables proactive fault management across our extensive global network infrastructure.

Architect robust end-to-end monitoring solutions for high-availability payment networks, encompassing backbone, edge, cloud, and data center environments. Design and implement real-time observability pipelines utilizing a suite of advanced tools and custom telemetry frameworks. Define critical network SLAs, KPIs, and SLOs to ensure payment transaction performance and regulatory adherence. Lead root cause analysis and incident forensics by correlating logs, flows, and metrics effectively. Collaborate closely with security and compliance teams to guarantee monitoring practices meet PCI-DSS and other regulatory standards. Drive automation and AI/ML-based anomaly detection for proactive identification and mitigation of network issues. Evaluate and integrate cutting-edge observability tools, contributing to vendor strategy. Mentor junior engineers and influence architectural decisions across the broader infrastructure team.
Demonstrate a deep understanding of payment network requirements, including low latency, deterministic routing, high availability, and compliance needs. Exhibit expertise in key network protocols and data formats such as SNMP, NetFlow/IPFIX, sFlow, streaming telemetry, and packet-level analysis. Possess hands-on experience with leading monitoring tools and custom-built solutions. Showcase strong scripting and automation skills using Python, Bash, REST APIs, Ansible, Terraform, and Jenkins. Exhibit familiarity with cloud-native networking and monitoring concepts across AWS, Azure, and GCP. Excel at clearly and concisely explaining complex technical problems. Communicate your vision and roadmap effectively as a strong, confident, and exacting writer and speaker to diverse stakeholders. Consistently identify and pursue potential solutions to overcome challenges.
