Provide technical leadership in AI-native development and disciplined AI tool usage across the software development lifecycle (SDLC). Oversee teams in creating robust, secure, and performant code, emphasizing maintainability and testability.
Lead architectural design discussions for complex systems, influencing and owning the overall system architecture. Explore and integrate open-source components and managed services. Drive innovation by evaluating and incorporating new technologies.
Champion engineering excellence by researching and sharing best practices in secure design and development. Drive the adoption of GenAI tooling to boost engineering productivity and implement efficient project and release plans. Ensure adherence to security, privacy, and compliance requirements.
Act as an expert in live site operations, quickly mitigating complex issues while adhering to security best practices. Improve troubleshooting guides, wikis, and telemetry to enhance the on-call experience. Ensure comprehensive observability and monitoring for all services.
A Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or a related technical field is required, coupled with 8+ years of technical engineering and/or leadership experience, including coding in languages like C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python.
Prior experience in cloud software development, reinforcement learning, post-training, and container workloads is preferred. Experience in people management is also a plus.
Candidates must possess the ability to debug, read code, and navigate large codebases. Security screening, including a Microsoft Cloud Background Check, is mandatory for this role.
