Spearhead the growth and development of engineering teams and senior technical leaders. Take ownership of the engineering strategy, architecture, execution, and operational excellence for a key product area. Drive comprehensive systems ownership beyond individual components, enhancing reliability, security, quality, and scalability.
Cultivate an AI-native engineering culture by leveraging agentic engineering, evidence-based debugging, and automated validation. Collaborate closely with IC3, M365 Core, and dependent teams to ensure technical alignment and deliver substantial customer impact. Focus on attracting, developing, and retaining top engineering talent.
A Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or a related technical field is required, along with a minimum of 6 years of technical engineering experience, including coding in languages such as C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python. Equivalent practical experience will also be considered.
Additional qualifications include significant experience in building and operating large-scale cloud/distributed systems, proven leadership of engineering teams, and strong technical judgment across architecture, reliability, security, and service engineering. The ability to lead complex, cross-team engineering initiatives, coupled with excellent customer orientation, communication, and organizational leadership skills, is essential. Candidates must also meet specific security screening requirements.
