Drive the architectural vision and strategic direction for backend firmware systems supporting AI accelerators like MAIA, ensuring scalability, performance, and security across SoC platforms.

Create firmware architecture for key systems, collaborating closely with hardware teams for seamless integration.

Design various firmware components, including driver interfaces and system libraries for SoC bring-up, protocol, and feature development.

Mentor engineers in firmware development, debugging, and optimization, providing technical oversight across multiple subsystems.

Act as the primary technical liaison between hardware/software architects, development teams, and validation groups to align firmware efforts with product goals.

Evaluate emerging technologies in cloud firmware and AI hardware, proposing and prototyping innovative solutions.

Lead complex system-level debugging, conduct root cause analysis, and perform performance tuning.

Own the entire firmware development lifecycle, from concept and design through manufacturing and productization, ensuring high-quality, production-ready code.

A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related field is required.

Minimum of 14 years of professional experience in firmware or embedded software development, with a strong focus on multicore systems and scalable architecture.

Possess 4+ years of hands-on experience with High-Speed Ethernet Controller Firmware/Software, including expertise in Ethernet MAC, Network Transport Layer protocols, traffic management, QoS, and performance optimization.

Demonstrate a solid understanding of Layer 2/Layer 3 networking protocols, network processors, optical networking technologies, CMIS, SFP, and QSFP modules.

Proven success in leading complex SoC bring-up efforts and delivering production-grade firmware.

Exhibit expert-level proficiency in C/C++/Rust, with proven experience in designing and optimizing low-level firmware components.
