Spearhead the development of data center facilities by colocation partners, ensuring projects are delivered punctually, within budget constraints, and to the highest quality benchmarks. This role involves comprehensive documentation management, including design reviews, commissioning, and problem-solving.

Key responsibilities include implementing and monitoring stringent quality control measures to guarantee adherence to design specifications and industry best practices throughout construction. Conducting in-depth site inspections and leading the crucial startup and commissioning phases of major data center projects are also integral. Identifying and rectifying risks and developing targeted mitigation strategies are essential for project success.

This position serves as the central liaison between our organization and colocation providers. It also encompasses the selection, negotiation, and management of contracts with external vendors, contractors, and suppliers, ensuring compliance and performance align with approved design blueprints.

Lead data center construction projects with colocation providers, ensuring on-time, on-budget, and high-quality delivery. Develop and maintain detailed project schedules and budgets, optimizing resource allocation.

Create, review, and manage essential project documentation, including design reviews, commissioning plans, and problem-solving reports, upholding rigorous standards.

Implement and oversee quality control processes to ensure construction aligns with design specifications and industry benchmarks. Coordinate tenant fit-out projects and conduct detailed site walks to monitor progress and quality.

Lead the critical startup and commissioning phases for major data center projects, verifying system operationality and adherence to design requirements.

Analyze and evaluate project delivery risks, identifying gaps in risk management and implementing effective mitigation strategies. Serve as the primary interface with colocation providers, fostering clear communication and resolving routine issues independently.

Select, negotiate, and manage contracts with vendors and suppliers, ensuring performance and compliance. Oversee the installation of power, cooling, networking, and structured cabling systems.

Possess 3 to 5+ years of experience in data center facilities development and construction management.

Demonstrate expertise in project planning, execution, budget management, and quality assurance in large-scale construction projects.

Proficiency in risk identification and mitigation, stakeholder management, and vendor contract negotiation is essential.

Familiarity with the installation and oversight of power, cooling, networking, and structured cabling systems within data center environments.

Excellent communication and problem-solving skills are required to liaise effectively with colocation providers and internal teams.

Ability to conduct detailed site walks, lead commissioning efforts, and ensure adherence to design specifications and industry standards.
