Join a leading tech company as a Principal Core Infrastructure Engineer, spearheading the development and architecture of highly scalable, elastic distributed systems. This role focuses on optimizing code and data paths for hyper-scale workloads, designing fault-tolerant systems, and ensuring operational readiness through robust telemetry and automation. You will implement security controls, maintain compliance, and drive continuous improvement in a collaborative environment.

This is an individual contributor role that requires a deep understanding of system design, reliability, and performance. You will mentor peers, diagnose production issues proactively, and contribute to the talent development pipeline through candidate assessments and hiring recommendations.

Lead the design and implementation of scalable distributed system components, optimizing for high throughput and large-scale data processing. Architect fault-tolerant, in-service-upgradable systems using redundancy, replication, and failover mechanisms. Establish KPIs, build proactive dashboards and alerts, and design complex validation scenarios for system correctness and durability.

Diagnose and resolve production issues proactively, mentoring team members. Implement robust security controls, execute remediation plans, and develop IaC and automation for safe patching, updates, and rollbacks within established change-management plans. Ensure operational readiness and compliance with industry standards.

A minimum of 10 years of experience in core infrastructure engineering is required. Proven expertise in architecting and developing scalable, elastic distributed systems, with a strong emphasis on system reliability and performance.

Demonstrated ability to design fault-tolerant systems, implement robust security controls, and develop IaC and automation. Experience with telemetry, dashboards, and alerting for proactive system monitoring is essential. Must be proficient in English, with strong problem-solving and collaboration skills.
