OCI Infrastructure Delivery Engineering focuses on developing services and tools to rapidly expand OCI's compute and network capacity. Our platform manages the entire lifecycle of data centers, from planning and design through to operation and decommissioning.

Lead the design and deployment of resilient, scalable, and secure services managing the physical asset lifecycle.

Translate business objectives into actionable technical strategies and roadmaps.

Champion operational excellence, including observability, health monitoring, and reliability goals.

Identify and prioritize systemic risks and technical debt.

A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience is required.

Possess over 10 years of professional software development experience, with significant expertise in designing, shipping, and operating scalable, cloud-native distributed systems.

Demonstrate technical leadership across complex, multi-service initiatives, including architecture definition and roadmap development.

Exhibit strong proficiency in programming languages like Go or Java, and scripting languages such as Python.

Deep understanding of distributed systems fundamentals, microservice patterns, data consistency, and high availability.

Experience designing production services with robust observability, incident response, and reliability improvement practices.

Proficiency in computer science fundamentals, including data structures and algorithms.

Ability to author and communicate technical proposals and design specifications.

Experience mentoring engineers and improving engineering practices.
