Seeking a seasoned Principal Consultant specializing in Enterprise Applications, specifically an experienced Senior SAP FICO Consultant. This role demands over 13 years of in-depth expertise in Financial Accounting (FI) and Controlling (CO) modules within SAP ECC and SAP S/4HANA. A key focus will be on leading complex data migration initiatives during ERP transformations, requiring a strong grasp of vendor master data, costing, and financial processes. The ideal candidate will orchestrate end-to-end data migration activities with precision and strategic foresight.

Lead comprehensive SAP FI/CO solution design, configuration, and ongoing support for critical finance and controlling functions. Spearhead all facets of data migration, from initial assessment and extraction to cleansing, transformation, validation, reconciliation, mock loads, and successful production cutover. Configure and manage core FI/CO processes including General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Asset Accounting, Cost Center Accounting, Internal Orders, Profit Center Accounting, Product Costing, Cost Object Controlling, and Profitability Analysis.

Drive vendor master data migration, ensuring robust governance, validation, and reconciliation. Configure and support intricate costing processes, encompassing cost center planning, product costing, cost rollups, and settlement. Collaborate closely with business stakeholders to define migration strategies, mapping rules, and data quality standards. Work in tandem with technical teams to develop and implement migration objects and load programs using SAP's specialized tools. Facilitate seamless integration with SAP MM, SD, PP, PS, and other enterprise applications.

Participate actively in system integration testing, user acceptance testing, cutover planning, go-live execution, and hypercare support. Develop essential project documentation, including functional specifications, migration mapping documents, test scripts, and training materials. Provide strong functional leadership, mentor junior consultants, and uphold governance standards across project teams.

This role requires a minimum of 13 years of experience as an SAP FICO Functional Consultant. Essential functional knowledge includes Financial Accounting (GL, AP, AR, AA), Controlling (CCA, PCA, Internal Orders, CO-PA), Product Costing, Cost Object Controlling, Vendor Master Data Management, Accounts Payable Processes, Financial Closing, and Reporting. Experience with SAP S/4HANA data migration tools such as Migration Cockpit (LTMC/LTMOM) and LSMW is crucial, alongside expertise in migrating vendor and finance master data, costing data, and transactional data.

Proficiency in data mapping, cleansing, transformation, validation, reconciliation, and mock migration cycles is expected. Strong skills in preparing functional specifications, basic ABAP debugging, and understanding IDoc/interface mechanisms are beneficial. The ability to perform data validation using SQL or reporting tools and collaborate effectively with development, integration, and data teams is key. Integration knowledge with SAP MM, SD, PP, and PS modules is also valued. This position is based onsite at the Birlasoft office in Hyderabad, India.
