This role is pivotal in collaborating with infrastructure, database, middleware, and application teams to enhance service uptime, optimize performance, and drive cloud migration and operational automation initiatives.
The position requires a seasoned Oracle Apps DBA & Fusion Middleware Administrator adept at managing, maintaining, and troubleshooting complex Oracle environments. Responsibilities encompass supporting production operations, handling upgrades, ensuring high availability and disaster recovery, and managing cloud infrastructure.
Ideal candidates will possess deep expertise in either Oracle Apps DBA or Fusion Middleware administration, complemented by a solid working understanding of the other. The role demands flexibility for 24x7 shifts and weekend support.

Troubleshooting complex production issues, optimizing performance, assessing capacity, and restoring services within SLAs are critical. Automation of operational tasks using Python and shell scripting is essential to reduce manual effort and prevent recurring incidents. Support for cloud environments, including OCI provisioning and migration of on-premises systems, is also a key function.
To qualify, candidates must meet specific education and experience criteria: 11 years of experience in IT solutions implementation/support, IT operations, or related fields; OR a bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field with 7 years of relevant experience; OR a master’s degree in a related field with 5 years of relevant experience.

Essential skills include experience with production Oracle infrastructure administration, Oracle Applications 11i/R12 management, WebLogic architecture and troubleshooting, and Oracle Database high availability/disaster recovery technologies like RAC and Data Guard.
Proficiency in JDBC, JMS, application deployment, SSL configuration, WLST, strong Linux/Unix administration, Python, and shell scripting are required. Experience with cloud infrastructure, OCI provisioning and migration, and the ability to troubleshoot across multiple layers (infrastructure, database, middleware, application) are crucial. Excellent communication, coordination, organizational, and customer-facing skills are necessary, along with a willingness to work 24x7 shifts and weekends.
