Join Oracle's Customer Success organization as a Principal Advanced Services Engineer, specializing in Oracle Exadata/RAC DBA roles. This position focuses on providing expert support for enterprise Oracle database environments, ensuring optimal availability, reliability, and customer satisfaction. You'll collaborate with customers and global engineering teams across various time zones to maintain the highest standards of service and engineering quality.

This role is ideal for seasoned professionals with a deep understanding of Oracle database technologies, particularly Exadata and RAC. Your expertise will be crucial in troubleshooting complex issues, optimizing system performance, and managing the full lifecycle of Oracle database systems.

Provide expert-level support and advanced troubleshooting for Oracle Exadata and RAC environments.

Administer and maintain Exadata and RAC systems, including performing crucial upgrades, migrations, and patching procedures.

Collaborate proactively with customers to understand their technical needs and offer strategic advice and support.

Develop and maintain comprehensive technical documentation and knowledge articles for internal teams and customer use.

Participate in a 24x7 shift rotation to ensure continuous support for critical Exadata systems.

Work collaboratively within the team to resolve intricate technical challenges and deliver high-quality, effective solutions.

Possess 6+ years of hands-on experience in Oracle RAC Database or Engineered Systems Administration.

Demonstrate strong expertise in Oracle Data Guard, RMAN Backup Recovery, Diagnostics, and ASM (Automatic Storage Manager).

Exhibit solid experience in managing customer relationships, providing essential support, and offering expert advice.

Be willing to work night shifts and adhere to US timings.

Be prepared to commute to the office as required.

Experience with Exadata, Golden Gate, OCI, ZDLRA, and Performance Tuning is highly beneficial. A BE, BTech, MCA, or CA degree, or an equivalent qualification, is preferred.
