Join a leading Oracle Customer Success team as an Advanced Services Engineer specializing in Oracle Exadata and RAC database environments. This role offers a critical support and services position, ensuring the availability and reliability of enterprise-level Oracle databases. You will collaborate with customers and global engineering teams across different time zones, focusing on maintaining high standards of customer satisfaction and technical excellence.

This is an opportunity to leverage your extensive knowledge and troubleshooting expertise in Oracle database technologies, particularly Exadata and RAC. The position is based in Bengaluru and involves working in a hybrid model, requiring some office presence and flexibility for US shift timings.

Provide expert-level support and advanced troubleshooting for Oracle Exadata and RAC database systems.

Administer and maintain critical Exadata and RAC infrastructure, including performing upgrades, migrations, and applying patches.

Engage with customers to understand their technical needs and offer proactive guidance and support to optimize their database environments.

Develop and maintain comprehensive technical documentation and knowledge articles to benefit the team and customers.

Participate in a 24x7 shift rotation, ensuring continuous support for Exadata systems, and collaborate with the team to resolve complex technical challenges with high-quality solutions.

A minimum of 6 years of hands-on experience with Oracle RAC Database or Engineered Systems Administration is mandatory.

Proficiency in Oracle Data Guard, RMAN Backup Recovery, Diagnostics, and ASM (Automatic Storage Manager) is essential.

Demonstrated strong experience in building and maintaining customer relationships through support and expert advice.

Flexibility to work night shifts or US timings, and willingness to come into the office in Bengaluru is required.

Experience with Exadata, Golden Gate, OCI, ZDLRA, and advanced performance tuning is highly desirable. A Bachelor's degree in Engineering (BE/B.Tech), MCA, or CA is preferred.
