Join Oracle’s Customer Success organization as a Principal Advanced Services Engineer, specializing in Oracle Exadata and RAC DBA solutions. This role focuses on enterprise Oracle database environments, ensuring availability, reliability, and customer satisfaction. You will collaborate with customers and global teams across time zones to maintain exceptional service quality.

This is a critical services and support position within Oracle, demanding deep expertise in advanced Oracle database technologies. You will be instrumental in delivering high-level support and strategic guidance to our enterprise clients, maintaining the integrity and performance of their mission-critical systems.

Provide expert-level support for Oracle Exadata and RAC environments, including in-depth troubleshooting, performance tuning, and optimization. Administer and maintain Exadata and RAC systems through upgrades, migrations, and patching. Collaborate closely with customers to understand their technical needs and offer proactive advice and support. Develop and maintain comprehensive technical documentation and knowledge articles. Participate in a 24/7 shift rotation to ensure continuous support for Exadata systems. Work collaboratively with the team to resolve complex technical issues, delivering high-quality solutions. Effectively communicate technical findings and recommendations to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

A minimum of 6 years of hands-on experience in Oracle RAC Database or Engineered Systems Administration is essential. Proficiency in Oracle Data Guard, RMAN Backup Recovery, Diagnostics, and ASM (Automatic Storage Manager) is required. Demonstrated strong experience in managing customer relationships through effective support and advisory services. A willingness to work night shifts and US time zone rotations is necessary. Candidates must be willing to commute to the office as required for this hybrid role. A Bachelor's degree in BE, B.Tech, MCA, CA, or an equivalent qualification is preferred.
