This includes enhancing our capabilities, creating reusable pricing tools, and embedding best practices in commercial processes and knowledge sharing across EY. As a Pricing and Commercial Architect, you will be responsible for comprehensive competitive analysis through advanced financial modeling. This includes costing solutions, developing client and EY business cases, preparing pricing responses, and mitigating contractual risks.

You will also support internal approval processes by preparing EY financial business cases, generating Mercury reports, and conducting financial analysis for DRF packs. Scenario and commercial evaluation modeling will be crucial for financial analysis and risk assessment.

Furthermore, you will facilitate the transfer of pricing knowledge to delivery teams for effective contract financial management. You will contribute to capturing and embedding knowledge into EY assets, promoting the reuse of costing and pricing models and policies to support future pursuits.

We are seeking individuals with demonstrable advanced Excel skills and complex financial modeling expertise. A high level of drive, the ability to work independently under pressure, and strong numerical and detail-oriented capabilities are essential.

Strong written and verbal communication skills are required, alongside meticulous attention to detail to consistently produce high-quality work within deadlines. Comfort in unstructured environments and the ability to manage ambiguity and change are vital, as is thriving in a matrixed organization.

To qualify, a Bachelor's degree is required. Professional accounting experience, ideally within a professional services or technology firm, is preferred. Candidates should possess at least three years of experience post-accountancy/financial qualification or equivalent, with a strong background in financial reporting and accounting practices.

While an MBA or certifications like CFA, CMA, or CPA would be advantageous, a proven track record in complex data and financial modeling skills is a must. Advanced Excel proficiency, including financial modeling, with any experience in VBA, Access, or SQL being a significant plus, is highly valued.

Exceptional communication abilities, the capacity to build and maintain diverse stakeholder relationships, and strong emotional intelligence are key. The ability to influence without direct authority, lead, and coach others, alongside proven collaboration skills and excellent organizational abilities, are critical for success in this role.
