NTT DATA is seeking a seasoned Pre-Sales Solution Architect to spearhead end-to-end solution development for complex enterprise opportunities. This role demands exceptional solution architecture prowess and hands-on pre-sales engagement. The ideal candidate will translate client needs into robust, scalable, secure, and commercially viable solutions across diverse industries, with a mandatory focus on BFSI. Collaboration with sales, engineering, delivery, and other key teams is integral throughout the client engagement lifecycle.

Key responsibilities include owning solution architecture for various proposal types, leading client discovery sessions to pinpoint detailed requirements, and crafting comprehensive architectures encompassing applications, cloud, data, integrations, infrastructure, security, and emerging technologies like AI/GenAI. The role also involves defining target-state architectures, producing detailed documentation and diagrams, validating feasibility with delivery teams, and leading effort estimation and cost modeling discussions.

Own the solution architecture for RFI, RFP, RFQ, proactive proposals, renewals, expansions, and complex deals. Lead client discovery sessions to deeply understand functional, non-functional, technical, and regulatory requirements. Develop end-to-end solution architectures covering applications, cloud, data, integrations, security, AI/GenAI, and enterprise platforms. Define target-state architectures, components, technology choices, integration patterns, and deployment strategies. Produce architecture diagrams, solution blueprints, and technical narratives for client proposals. Collaborate with engineering and delivery SMEs to ensure solution feasibility and timely implementation. Lead effort sizing, estimation, and consolidation of technical inputs. Partner with finance and commercial teams on cost models and pricing assumptions. Proactively identify and challenge solution risks and weak assumptions. Lead client presentations, workshops, demos, and solution defense sessions. Ensure high quality, traceability, consistency, and compliance of technical responses. Facilitate smooth transition from pre-sales to delivery with structured handover documentation.

A minimum of 12 years of overall experience in enterprise technology, solution architecture, or technology delivery is required. This includes at least 6 years of demonstrable solutioning experience across multiple industry domains, with mandatory BFSI (Banking & Financial Services) exposure. Additionally, a minimum of 5 years of hands-on pre-sales experience covering the full pursuit lifecycle is essential.

Strong architectural fundamentals across enterprise applications, cloud, data, integration, security, and infrastructure are expected. Candidates must be adept at creating architecture views that link business requirements to technical components, understand public/hybrid cloud services, and have working knowledge of modern architectural patterns like APIs, microservices, event-driven architectures, data platforms, AI/GenAI, and DevOps.

Candidates must demonstrate versatility across multiple business domains, with BFSI being mandatory. The experience should showcase adaptability to different client contexts. Essential skills include proficiency in architecture documentation tools such as PowerPoint and Visio, excellent client-facing communication abilities, and strong proposal development skills. A Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related discipline is required; relevant cloud or architecture certifications are a plus.
