EY seeks a dynamic Power & Utilities Sector Leader to drive growth through strategic origination, deal shaping, and execution of large-scale transformation programs. This role emphasizes enhancing sales enablement and pipeline quality, acting as a senior industry advisor to translate energy transition and utility disruptions into client opportunities.

The objective is to lead the sector's growth agenda, define strategic priorities, and scale the practice for sustained revenue. The leader will drive complex transformation opportunities, translating sector themes into high-value deals and serving as a trusted advisor to C-suite leaders on enterprise transformation. A key focus includes institutionalizing strong sales enablement and building differentiated sector offerings.

This position owns the sector agenda across priority accounts, aligning global client needs with GDS capabilities to identify and shape transformation opportunities. The role involves leading the end-to-end pursuit lifecycle, driving sales enablement at scale, and executing integrated go-to-market initiatives. Developing and industrializing sector-specific assets and accelerators is also crucial, alongside building and maintaining senior client relationships.

Building and scaling GDS alliance and ecosystem capabilities for the sector is essential, as is developing a high-performing P&U capability within GDS to enhance domain depth and delivery excellence.

Key responsibilities include sponsoring and steering priority pursuits, providing senior direction on deal strategy, and shaping differentiated client propositions. The role involves governing proposal quality and consistency, driving commercial rigor in deal-making, and enabling cross-functional solution integration. Influencing executive-level client decision-making and overseeing the development of sector intellectual property are critical.

Ensuring strong alignment between deal strategy and delivery approach, guiding teams on shaping scalable GDS-led delivery models, and coaching senior team members on pursuit leadership and client engagement are also core functions. This leadership position demands a strategic mindset and a proven ability to drive complex transformation initiatives within the Power & Utilities sector.

This role requires 25+ years of relevant experience in consulting or senior industry roles within the Power & Utilities sector, with a proven track record in large-scale transformation or business-led growth. Experience working with global clients and stakeholders across geographies is essential.

A strong academic background is expected, with an MBA or equivalent advanced degree preferred, alongside an undergraduate degree in engineering, business, or a related discipline. Familiarity with global delivery or distributed team models, including leveraging offshore/onshore constructs, is also important for this leadership position.
