Join a dynamic Global Finance Information Center team as a Cash Application Analyst, specializing in Portuguese. This role is crucial for managing customer payment activities across LAD countries, ensuring accurate application of receipts against customer invoices and maintaining precise customer accounts.

You will be instrumental in resolving payment discrepancies, collaborating with internal departments, and contributing to process enhancements. This position offers a chance to leverage your language skills in a supportive finance operations environment.

Key responsibilities include managing customer payment activities for assigned LAD countries, accurately identifying and applying incoming customer receipts to appropriate Accounts Receivable invoices, and ensuring timely cash posting.

You will also research and resolve unapplied cash, unidentified receipts, short payments, and overpayments, working collaboratively with customers and internal teams like Collections, Accounts Receivable, and Sales to resolve account issues.

Additional duties involve performing customer-account and payment reconciliations, supporting month-end close activities, maintaining operational records and reporting, and actively contributing to process improvement initiatives by identifying recurring issues and supporting root-cause analysis.

Essential requirements for this role include strong Portuguese language proficiency for customer and operational interactions, alongside hands-on experience in cash application and customer payment processing.

Candidates must demonstrate the ability to accurately identify and apply customer payments to AR invoices, possess experience or capability in payment/account reconciliation, and be adept at investigating and resolving payment exceptions such as unapplied cash, unidentified receipts, short payments, and overpayments.

Effective collaboration with diverse stakeholders, meticulous record-keeping, support for month-end activities, and robust problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail are also critical for success in this position.
