Job description

Join Google's Trust & Safety team as a Policy Enforcement Manager for YouTube's Partner Program. This role is crucial for safeguarding product integrity by addressing abuse and fraud.

You will be a key player in developing and executing enforcement strategies for YouTube policies, collaborating across Policy Development, Product, Engineering, Legal, Ads Policy, and Scaled Abuse teams. Your work will ensure scalable policies that minimize brand risk and educate creators.

The position involves navigating complex policy areas such as Hate, Misinformation, Adult content, Reused content, and Kids' content. You will design consistent and resilient processes to protect the YouTube ecosystem.

Responsibilities

You will be responsible for specific areas of vertical performance and extended workforce operations, ensuring high quality.

Stay informed about key trends and suspicious abuse patterns within the team's policy domains.

Understand the impact of YouTube Partner Program (YPP) policies on users, platform changes, and new product launches.

Collaborate with Policy, Public Relations, Legal, and Partnerships teams to implement solutions for emerging threats and enhance creator education.

Propose policy changes to improve quality and reduce operational burden. Cultivate relationships with Product and Engineering teams to boost detection, sophistication, and enforcement efficiency.

Manage sensitive escalations from start to finish, working with cross-functional and executive stakeholders. Prepare and deliver clear presentations on initiatives to management and the wider organization.

Qualifications

A Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience is required.

Possess at least 2 years of experience in operations, including data analytics, trust and safety, policy, or cybersecurity.

Demonstrate 2 years of experience specifically in data analysis.

Preferred qualifications include experience in content policy, anti-abuse efforts, and reviewing online content. Familiarity with identifying abuse trends and working within policy frameworks is beneficial. Proficiency with SQL and spreadsheets is also preferred.
