Job description

Join a vital Trust & Safety team focused on safeguarding Google's products, including Search, Maps, Gmail, and Google Ads. This role is pivotal in protecting users and partners from online abuse, leveraging technical acumen, problem-solving skills, and proactive communication. As a strategic thinker and team player, you'll collaborate globally with engineers and product managers to combat abuse and fraud with urgency, reinforcing user trust and safety.

This position involves enforcing YouTube's Partner Program policies, driving strategy, and operationalizing scalable solutions. You will navigate complex policy areas and develop consistent, resilient processes to protect the ecosystem. Be prepared for potential review of sensitive content and rotational on-call duties, including weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

Spearhead specific vertical performance and operations, including quality control for temps, vendors, and contractors. Stay informed on emerging abuse trends and patterns within policy areas.

Demonstrate a strong understanding of how YouTube Partner Program (YPP) policies affect users, platform changes, and new product launches. Collaborate with policy, PR, Legal, and Partnerships teams to implement solutions for new threats and enhance creator education.

Propose policy changes to boost quality and streamline operational tasks. Foster relationships with product and engineering teams to elevate detection, sophistication, and enforcement efficiency.

Manage sensitive escalations from start to finish, working with cross-functional and executive stakeholders to find solutions. Prepare and present clear communications about initiatives to management and the wider organization.

Qualifications

A Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience is essential, alongside a minimum of two years of experience in operations, data analytics, trust and safety, policy, cybersecurity, or a related field. Proven experience in data analysis is required for this role.
