Design and implement bespoke data solutions, from streaming to data lakes and analytics, within a diverse technical landscape. Provide expert recommendations on technologies and solutions, covering application layers to infrastructure. Develop robust solutions using Python, Java, and Scala, focusing on performance, security, and scalability. Collaborate across platforms like Cloudera, Databricks, Snowflake, and AWS. Create detailed presentations and comprehensive solution documentation, including diagrams and system views. Follow Agile methodologies throughout the development lifecycle. Build and deploy essential databases and data stores.

A minimum of 4 years of experience supporting Software Engineering, Data Engineering, or Data Analytics projects is required. Additionally, 2+ years of experience leading teams in developing end-to-end data-related technical solutions is essential. Candidates must be willing and able to travel at least 25% of the time.

An undergraduate or graduate degree is preferred. Proficiency in core data platforms such as Snowflake, Databricks, AWS, Azure, GCP, and Hadoop is advantageous. Hands-on experience with cloud and distributed data storage systems, including HDFS, S3, and various NoSQL databases, is highly desirable. Strong knowledge of data integration technologies like Spark, Kafka, and NiFi is also preferred.
