As a Playwright Test Automation specialist, you will design, develop, and maintain robust test automation frameworks using Playwright (TypeScript/JavaScript), Core Java, and Selenium.
Key duties include building scalable automation solutions for web applications, focusing on quality and performance. You will create reusable automation components, develop and execute automated UI, API, and end-to-end test cases, and participate in requirement analysis and automation planning. Integration with CI/CD pipelines for continuous testing is also a core responsibility.
This role requires a minimum of 6 years in IT, with at least 2 years of hands-on experience specifically with Playwright using TypeScript or JavaScript. A strong foundation in Core Java and extensive experience with Selenium WebDriver are essential.
Proven ability in designing and developing automation frameworks from scratch (e.g., Hybrid, Page Object Model, Data-Driven, Keyword-Driven, BDD) is required. Solid understanding of OOP concepts, collections, exception handling, and Java programming standards is crucial. Experience with test runners like TestNG, JUnit, Cucumber, or BDD frameworks is necessary. Familiarity with API Testing tools (REST Assured/Postman/Karate) and source control tools like Git/GitHub/Bitbucket is preferred. Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, Azure DevOps, or GitLab CI is also expected.
