This role focuses on delivering essential platform software engineering tasks, including minor enhancements to shared services, SDKs, and integration adapters. You'll troubleshoot standard issues using established playbooks, ensuring the reliability and backward compatibility of our platform. A key part of this position involves monitoring and analyzing platform API/SDK usage to identify opportunities for improving observability and resilience. You will also be responsible for updating migration notes and reference implementations according to defined guidelines.

Develop and implement minor enhancements for shared services, integration adapters, and SDKs, adhering to compatibility and versioning rules. Propose improvements to observability and resilience based on API/SDK usage data. Design and code new software features, following development lifecycle best practices. Debug, troubleshoot, and resolve software issues, conducting functional testing and implementing error logging. Support performance profiling and optimization efforts. Troubleshoot API functionality and integration issues, implementing versioning and lifecycle strategies. Collaborate with team members and external stakeholders to understand and resolve customer-reported issues, providing technical guidance. Ensure adherence to development practices, coding standards, and secure coding principles. Perform system maintenance, including upgrades and patching, and contribute to automation and system reliability improvements.

Demonstrated ability to deliver minor enhancements to platform components and troubleshoot standard issues. Experience with the full software development lifecycle, including design, coding, testing, and debugging. Familiarity with API/SDK usage analysis and performance optimization. Capacity to collaborate effectively with team members and support customer issue resolution. Understanding of development practices, coding standards, and security principles. Ability to track timelines, prioritize work, and adapt to changing project needs. Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to escalate issues appropriately.
