Join our team as a Platform Software Engineer 2 and contribute to the development of new applications, reports, and GenAI tools. You'll focus on minor enhancements to REST services, SDKs, and integration code while ensuring system reliability and backward compatibility. This role involves troubleshooting issues, monitoring performance, and suggesting improvements to observability and resilience. You will also update design documentation and participate in Proof of Concept implementations.

Familiarity with AI-powered coding agents like Codex or Claude, and using AI for creative problem-solving to meet business needs, is a valuable asset.

Key responsibilities include delivering minor enhancements to shared services, integration adapters, and SDK surfaces, while adhering to compatibility rules for downstream teams. Propose improvements to observability and resilience based on usage signals. You will also contribute to software design, analyze requirements, and participate in all phases of the software development lifecycle. Debugging, troubleshooting, and developing fixes for software issues are essential, as is implementing functional testing, quality assurance, and robust error logging.

Further duties involve supporting performance profiling and optimization, resolving API functionality and integration issues, and implementing API versioning and lifecycle strategies. Collaboration with your team and networking outside to understand customer issues is key. You'll provide technical guidance to customers, advocate for their interests, and suggest product enhancements based on feedback. Implementing customer issue handling processes and collaborating with experienced colleagues on product maintenance are also part of the role.
