EY seeks a skilled Hyperconverged Infrastructure (HCI) Engineer to join our Enterprise Technology team. This role involves supporting and advancing EY's global HCI platforms, focusing on Microsoft Azure Stack HCI. You will engineer, provide operational support, and manage the lifecycle of these critical systems, working with cutting-edge virtualization, clustering, storage, security, and automation technologies. Provide expert technical support and engineering for EY's Azure Stack HCI platforms. Implement platform enhancements, manage lifecycle activities, and execute patching and security initiatives. Maintain highly available HCI environments across global data centers, ensuring compliance, resilience, and operational excellence. Leverage deep knowledge of Windows Server, Failover Clustering, Storage Spaces Direct (S2D), Azure Stack HCI, networking, and virtualization to support enterprise workloads.

Requires 5-7 years of experience in Microsoft Azure Stack HCI administration, Windows Server (2019/2022/2025), Windows Failover Clustering, Storage Spaces Direct (S2D), and Hyper-V virtualization. Expertise in cluster deployment, lifecycle management, and Cluster Aware Updating (CAU) is essential. Proficiency in PowerShell scripting and automation is also required. Strong networking knowledge including VLANs, NIC Teaming, RDMA, SMB Direct, and Data Center Bridging is expected. Experience with Host Guardian Service (HGS), Secured-Core Server technologies, and server patching is necessary.
