We are actively searching for a talented Physical Design Engineer to contribute to our innovative semiconductor product development.
As a Physical Design Engineer, you will drive physical design implementation and integration at block, subsystem, sub-chip, and/or full-chip levels. Key responsibilities include floorplanning, synthesis, placement, clock tree synthesis (CTS), custom clocking, routing, static timing analysis, physical verification, formal equivalency checks, power efficiency analysis, IR-drop analysis, and electromigration (EM) analysis.
You may also contribute to physical design flow development, automation, and the evaluation and selection of technologies, IP, and vendors. Success in this role requires exceptional attention to detail, the ability to work independently, and clear communication of progress, issues, and risks to management. Occasional travel may be necessary.
A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering, or a related field, coupled with over 6 years of relevant experience is required. Demonstrable experience in physical design implementation and signoff at SoC, sub-chip, subsystem, or block level is essential.
Proven experience with tapeouts of complex ASICs utilizing leading-edge technology is a must. Candidates must also meet Microsoft's security screening requirements, including the Microsoft Cloud Background Check, which is mandatory upon hire and biennially thereafter.
