Lead performance testing initiatives, including designing and implementing strategies for load, stress, endurance, and spike testing. Develop sophisticated performance scripts and scenarios that accurately simulate real-world workloads. Analyze system architecture to pinpoint potential performance bottlenecks and areas for optimization.

Execute baseline and trend tests, coordinating necessary test windows and monitoring access. Analyze test results, collaborate with engineering and operations teams to identify bottlenecks and provide actionable recommendations. Maintain and refine performance scripts and reports following best practices.

Produce and manage comprehensive test documentation, including runbooks with execution steps and troubleshooting guides. Contribute to broader non-functional testing activities, assisting with the development of initial scripts for tools like k6 or Gatling. Continuously enhance the automation suite's health by refactoring code, eliminating duplication, improving assertions, and optimizing execution times. Support sprint demonstrations, providing clear visibility into automation progress, results, and coverage. Mentor team members on advanced performance testing tools and methodologies. Collaborate with stakeholders to define service level agreements (SLAs) and performance benchmarks.

Proficiency in performance testing tools such as Jmeter, LoadRunner, and in conducting Concurrency Testing and Web Analytics Testing is essential. A strong understanding of system architecture is required to identify and address performance risks.

Candidates should possess excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to drive quality initiatives and deliver performance testing excellence.
