- Design and implement comprehensive performance testing strategies, including load, stress, endurance, and spike testing. - Develop intricate performance scripts and scenarios that accurately simulate real-world user workloads and system demands. - Conduct in-depth analysis of system architecture to proactively identify potential performance risks and areas for optimization. - Lead performance testing initiatives, ensuring robust system scalability and stability under various conditions. - Plan and execute baseline and trend tests in approved environments, coordinating necessary test windows and monitoring access. - Analyze performance test results, identifying bottlenecks, thresholds, and providing actionable recommendations in collaboration with engineering and operations teams. - Review and maintain performance scripts and reports, adhering to best practices for consistency and quality. - Produce, review, and maintain essential test documentation, including runbooks with execution steps, troubleshooting guides, and onboarding notes. - Contribute to broader non-functional and performance testing activities, such as developing initial k6/Gatling scripts under guidance. - Continuously enhance the automation suite health through refactoring, reducing duplication, improving assertions, and optimizing execution times. - Support sprint demos, offering clear visibility into automation progress, key results, and test coverage. - Mentor junior team members, sharing expertise in performance testing tools and techniques. - Collaborate effectively with stakeholders to define Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and critical performance benchmarks.
