Design and implement comprehensive performance testing strategies, including load, stress, endurance, and spike testing. Develop sophisticated performance scripts and scenarios to accurately simulate real-world user workloads. Analyze system architecture to pinpoint performance bottlenecks and areas for optimization. Lead performance testing initiatives, ensuring robust system scalability and stability. Plan and execute baseline and trend tests, coordinating necessary test windows and monitoring access.

Analyze performance test results to identify bottlenecks, define thresholds, and provide actionable recommendations in collaboration with engineering and operations teams. Maintain and update performance scripts and reports following best practices. Produce and manage essential test documentation, including runbooks with execution steps and troubleshooting guides. Support non-functional testing activities, potentially contributing to initial script development for tools like k6 or Gatling. Continuously enhance the automation suite's health through refactoring and optimization. Support sprint demonstrations, providing clear visibility into automation progress, results, and coverage. Mentor team members on advanced performance testing tools and techniques. Collaborate with stakeholders to establish Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and performance benchmarks.
