As a Performance Engineer, you will dive into intricate performance issues that have eluded internal testing teams. Your role encompasses a holistic approach to performance engineering, covering the software development lifecycle, architectural considerations, rigorous performance validation, and proactive capacity planning. You will be instrumental in application performance management and the swift detection and resolution of problems, ensuring robust system performance and reliability.
You will collaborate across various teams to identify and resolve bottlenecks, enhance system efficiency, and maintain high operational standards. - Independently drive performance engineering initiatives and establish yourself as a Subject Matter Expert (SME). - Actively participate and contribute to team discussions, sharing insights and expertise. - Provide effective solutions to work-related challenges, fostering a collaborative problem-solving environment. - Partner with cross-functional teams to pinpoint performance bottlenecks and propose actionable recommendations. - Document all findings and disseminate knowledge to support ongoing team development and learning. - Mentor and guide junior team members, offering support and expertise in their performance-related tasks. - Continuously monitor system performance metrics, identifying and addressing potential issues before they impact end-users.
A strong foundation in Manufacturing Engineering MES is essential for this role. You should possess a deep understanding of software development lifecycles and architectural principles. Experience with various performance testing tools and methodologies is required, alongside the ability to analyze capacity planning data effectively.
Proficiency in application performance management and advanced problem-resolution techniques is crucial. The ideal candidate will be adept at diagnosing complex system issues and implementing efficient, lasting solutions. A minimum of three years of specialized experience in Manufacturing Engineering MES is a prerequisite. A 15-year full-time education is also required for this position.
