Seeking a skilled Performance Engineer to tackle complex performance issues beyond the capabilities of the in-house team. This role involves a deep dive into the software development lifecycle, architecture, performance testing, capacity planning, application performance management, and proactive problem resolution. You will be instrumental in ensuring optimal system efficiency and reliability, working collaboratively across teams to uphold high performance standards throughout the software development lifecycle.

As a Performance Engineer, you will independently drive initiatives and become a subject matter expert. Your active participation in team discussions and contribution to problem-solving will be crucial. This role requires strong analytical skills to identify performance bottlenecks, recommend strategic improvements, and monitor system performance against service level objectives. You will also assist in developing performance testing strategies and tools, while mentoring junior team members on best practices.

- Minimum of 3 years of experience, with a strong focus on Kong Konnect. - Demonstrated proficiency in Kong Konnect is essential. - Solid understanding of performance testing methodologies and validation techniques. - Proven experience in capacity planning and resource optimization within software environments. - Familiarity with application performance management tools and effective problem resolution strategies. - Ability to analyze software architecture to identify potential performance limitations. - Skilled in diagnosing intricate system problems and implementing effective, lasting solutions. - A foundational 15 years of full-time education is required.
