Join EY's Global Delivery Services (GDS) as a Staff/Consultant within the People Consulting team, specializing in Payroll Advisory. This role offers a dynamic opportunity to engage in global payroll transformation and implementation projects.

Support global payroll advisory, transformation, and implementation engagements in collaboration with GDS and EY member firms. Participate in payroll assessments, discovery workshops, and stakeholder interviews to document findings and improvement opportunities.

Design payroll processes, analyze operating models, assist with vendor selection, and gather requirements for business and functional documentation. Develop process maps, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and project status reports.

Analyze payroll data, including inputs, gross-to-net processing, remittances, controls, and interfaces. Assist with implementation activities such as testing, data validation, and deployment readiness.

Collaborate effectively within a global distributed team, ensuring quality and timeliness. Maintain clear communication with project teams and clients, proactively managing risks and issues. Contribute to developing payroll methodologies and thought leadership materials.

A minimum of 2 to 5 years of relevant experience in payroll operations, consulting, implementation, HR transformation, or workforce management is required.

Demonstrated practical experience in payroll advisory, transformation, implementation, or technology projects is essential. A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Commerce, Finance, Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field is necessary.

Possess a strong understanding of the end-to-end payroll lifecycle, including key controls, processing, remittances, and reporting. Experience in process documentation, requirements gathering, data analysis, or project coordination is expected.

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word is required. Prior experience working in consulting, shared services, a payroll provider, or a global delivery environment is beneficial.
