This senior role involves end-to-end payroll processing for multiple clients, including year-end activities, and offers a chance to work within a multi-country corporate and global payroll processing environment.

As a Tax Payroll Senior, you will manage payroll system setup, including data migration and transition.

You will ensure accurate and timely payroll processing, reconciliation, salary disbursement, and compliance with relevant legislation. This includes managing overpayment recovery, leave, and reporting.

Prepare and review complex payroll and HR information for data input, ensuring accuracy, service quality, and data integrity. You will also assist clients with their taxation, superannuation, and other statutory obligations.

Provide responsive, accurate client advisory services on payroll matters, resolve complex inquiries, and implement corrective actions for payroll errors to maintain database integrity. Additionally, you will coach, mentor, train, and coordinate staff activities.

Collaborate within the wider Payroll team and contribute to the Hub’s methodology framework. Ad-hoc reporting and other duties as required are also part of the role.

We are seeking experienced professionals with proven capabilities in global payroll processing.

You must possess a proven ability to work effectively individually or within a team, relating well with staff at all levels. Demonstrable skills in quickly learning new information, processes, and procedures are essential, alongside a strong capacity for meeting deadlines and resolving problems.

Essential qualifications include previous experience in high-volume, full-function payroll, strong numeracy skills, attention to detail, and accuracy. Excellent oral and written communication in English is required. Experience in payroll, using large ERP systems, and personnel/people management including supervision and team building is necessary. Proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite, with intermediate/advanced Excel skills, is also a must.

While not strictly necessary, a payroll-related diploma/certificate, prior experience in tax accounting and finance, and strong analytical skills would be advantageous.
