Job description

Partner with leading companies to accelerate their digital transformation by leveraging the power of Google Cloud. As a Global System Integrators (GSI) Partner Engineer, you will be the primary technical point of contact, providing expert guidance and trusted advisory to our GSI partners.

Your role involves understanding their business challenges, troubleshooting technical roadblocks, and architecting innovative cross-pillar cloud solutions. You will drive technical wins and define comprehensive delivery and consumption plans, demonstrating the value of the Google Cloud portfolio through engaging presentations and hands-on demonstrations.

Focus on identifying and capturing new business opportunities, driving adoption within existing accounts by showcasing expertise in areas like infrastructure modernization, application modernization, and data analytics. Blend strategic sales acumen with deep technical engagement to prove the unique advantages of Google Cloud.

Responsibilities

Develop and own the technical strategy for GSI partners, actively participating in planning and supporting targeted sales initiatives.

Leverage sales, programming, and solutions architecture expertise to showcase the value of Google Cloud Platform across its entire portfolio. Assist and guide GSI partners in developing and delivering intricate demos, proof-of-concepts, and comprehensive workshops.

Architect robust cross-pillar solutions, secure technical wins, and establish initial delivery plans for clients in collaboration with GSI partners. Continue to lead technical engagement throughout the solutioning phase.

Support GSI partners in building, developing, and enhancing their Google Cloud capabilities and practices.

Serve as the key technical liaison for GSI partners, addressing product and solution inquiries by collaborating with specialized Product and Support teams within Google Cloud.

Qualifications

A Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience is required.

Possess at least 10 years of experience in cloud-native architecture, with a strong background in partner management or a support role.

Demonstrate experience with cloud engineering, on-premise engineering, virtualization, or containerization platforms.

Proven ability to engage with and present to both technical stakeholders and executive leadership.

Experience translating complex customer objectives into effective Cloud solutions across multiple domains.

Skilled in managing GSI or other channel partners as a technical alliance lead or engineer.

Preferred qualifications include experience managing multiple stakeholders, working cross-functionally in a collaborative setting, building business partnerships with customers and partners in an architecture or solution delivery capacity, and excellent communication skills with a track record of conducting partner technical engagements.
