Job description

Join Google Cloud as a Partner Engineer, GSI, and play a pivotal role in expanding the reach and impact of cloud computing. Your expertise will be crucial in enabling leading companies, educational institutions, and government agencies to leverage Google Cloud products, enhancing their productivity, mobility, and collaboration.

You will act as a primary technical partner and trusted advisor for GSI partners, fostering strong relationships through in-depth technical conversations. By understanding their unique business challenges, you'll troubleshoot complex issues, conduct proofs-of-concept, and architect innovative cross-pillar cloud solutions.

This role is instrumental in driving technical wins with GSI partners and shaping their delivery and consumption strategies. You'll utilize your strategic acumen and presentation skills to engage with both technical and business leaders, persuasively advocating for practical and impactful Google Cloud solutions.

Responsibilities

Develop and champion the GSI partner's technical strategy, actively contributing to planning and supporting targeted sales initiatives.

Leverage combined expertise in sales, programming, and solutions architecture to demonstrate the value of the Google Cloud Platform across its entire portfolio. This includes guiding GSI partners in creating and delivering intricate demos, pilots, and comprehensive workshops.

Architect robust, cross-pillar solutions, secure technical wins, and establish initial delivery blueprints for customers in collaboration with GSI partners, continuing to guide the technical engagement through the solution phase.

Strategize and support GSI partners in cultivating, growing, and refining their Google Cloud practices.

Serve as the go-to technical point-of-contact for GSI partners, addressing product and solution inquiries, and collaborating closely with Product and Support specialists within Google Cloud Platform (GCP).

Qualifications

Possess at least 10 years of experience in cloud-native architecture, with a strong background in partner management or support roles.

Demonstrated experience with cloud engineering, on-premise engineering, virtualization, or containerization platforms.

Proven ability to engage with and present to both technical stakeholders and executive leadership.

Experience in translating customer objectives into effective Cloud solutions across diverse domains.

Familiarity with managing Global System Integrators (GSI) or other channel partners as a technical alliance lead or engineer.

Experience managing multiple stakeholders and collaborating effectively across different teams is preferred.

Building business partnerships with partners and customers in an architecture or solution delivery capacity is advantageous.
