You will collaborate with educational institutions, government agencies, and businesses, enhancing their productivity, mobility, and collaboration through Google Cloud products. This role involves understanding customer needs, resolving technical challenges, and liaising with product teams to drive innovation.

As a Global System Integrators (GSI) Partner Engineer, your mission is to enhance Google Cloud's standing with GSI partners. You'll act as the primary technical advisor, leading discussions to grasp their business challenges and proposing effective cloud solutions. Responsibilities include troubleshooting, conducting proofs-of-concept, architecting cross-pillar solutions, and defining delivery plans.

Leverage your sales acumen, market knowledge, and technical expertise to showcase the value of the Google Cloud portfolio. You will focus on identifying and securing new business opportunities while deepening engagement within existing accounts, covering areas like infrastructure modernization, application modernization, and data analytics. Google Cloud empowers organizations worldwide to digitally transform, offering enterprise-grade solutions and tools for sustainable development.

Develop and champion the GSI partner technical strategy, actively participating in planning and supporting sales initiatives.

Utilize a blend of sales, programming, and solutions architecture skills to demonstrate the value of Google Cloud Platform across its diverse offerings. Assist and guide GSI partners in creating and delivering sophisticated demos, pilot projects, and in-depth workshops.

Architect comprehensive cross-pillar solutions, achieve technical successes, and establish initial delivery plans for clients in collaboration with GSI partners. Continue to lead technical engagement throughout the solutioning phase.

Plan and support GSI partners in cultivating, developing, and enhancing their Google Cloud practices.

Serve as the main technical contact for GSI partners regarding product and solution inquiries, coordinating with specialized Product and Support teams within Google Cloud Platform (GCP).

Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience is required.

Possess at least 10 years of experience in cloud-native architecture, specifically within a partner management or support capacity.

Demonstrate expertise in cloud engineering, on-premise engineering, virtualization, or containerization platforms.

Proven ability to engage with and present to both technical stakeholders and executive leadership.

Skilled in translating complex customer objectives into effective cloud solutions across various domains.

Experience managing Global System Integrators (GSI) or other channel partners in a technical alliance lead or engineering role.

Experience managing multiple stakeholders and working collaboratively across different teams is preferred.

Experience building business partnerships with partners and customers through an architecture or solution delivery role is advantageous.

Excellent communication skills, including experience conducting technical engagements with partners.
