Key responsibilities include aligning partner investments with revenue and profitability goals, fostering strong C-suite relationships, and orchestrating executive engagement cadences. You will also be responsible for influencing partner capability investments in Microsoft's strategic direction, particularly in AI and Security.
This position demands strong sales leadership and revenue accountability, leading a team to drive pipeline development, renewals, and MCEM stage progression. You will spearhead co-sell motions to achieve upsell targets, renewal recapture, new customer acquisition, and cloud migration initiatives.
Collaborate on Partner Business Plans (PBP) with Distributors, SSPs, and SI partners, translating global strategy into actionable multi-year revenue goals and quarterly milestones. Define and track growth targets across Renewals, CSP, MCEM, and frontier motions such as AI Agents and Copilot. Align partner investments in sales, technical readiness, and services capacity to ensure alignment with revenue and profitability objectives. Cultivate and maintain C-suite relationships with partners to drive measurable revenue outcomes. Orchestrate executive engagement cadences (MBR, QBR, annual reviews) and deliver high-quality partner briefs. Influence partner investments in sales, technical, and AI/Security practices to align with Microsoft's strategic direction. Own In-Period Target (IPT) attainment across the assigned partner portfolio. Lead POD (Partner Development Manager, PSS, segment sellers, partner) orchestration to advance pipeline, renewals, and MCEM stages. Drive co-sell motions across Corp and SMB teams to achieve upsell, renewal recapture, new customer acquisition, compete win-backs, and dark-to-cloud migration. Lead end-to-end POD execution using the Partner Activation Framework (PAF). Manage MCEM, renewals, programs, and incentives as a consistent operating rhythm.
Requires 15+ years of experience in partner management, channel sales, or enterprise sales, preferably within the technology sector. Demonstrated experience managing Technology Distributors, CSP partners, LSPs/SI Partners, or Global/Regional Partners, with a solid understanding of AI, Agents, Cloud, Security, and Modern Work. Possess strong business leadership skills, including strategic thinking, financial acumen, business planning, and competitive positioning. Exhibit effective sales leadership with capabilities in executive influence, pipeline management, forecasting, and co-sell execution. Strong partner leadership abilities encompassing CXO engagement, change management, partner transformation, and preference creation. Expected technical acumen in Microsoft AI, Copilot, Agents, Security, and Cloud Platform. Exhibit strong commercial fluency, including the ability to analyze partner P&Ls, model revenue impact of investments, and connect partner decisions to profitability. Experience leading executive engagements at the C-suite level (CEO, CRO, CFO) with both internal and partner stakeholders. Proficiency in running structured sales execution rhythms, such as MBR/QBR cadences, pipeline reviews, and renewal tracking. Ability to influence cross-functional teams (CELA, Finance, Commerce Ops, Deal Desk, segment sales) without direct authority. Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; Hindi language skills are preferred for this market.
