In this senior specialist role, you will provide essential day-to-day operational support for Palo Alto firewalls and Panorama. Your duties will encompass incident, request, and change management activities, alongside vigilant monitoring of firewall health, logs, and alerts to ensure timely resolution of issues within defined SLAs.

You will also be responsible for executing configuration changes under standard procedures, supporting system upgrades, patching, and routine maintenance. Furthermore, you'll actively participate in rulebase reviews, assist with escalations for complex problems, maintain comprehensive documentation, and contribute to a knowledge base. On-call rotation and support for multiple customer environments are also key aspects of this position, requiring flexibility to work within a 24x7 operational framework.

We are looking for a seasoned professional with 3-6 years of experience in network security, specifically with hands-on operational expertise in Palo Alto firewalls and Panorama. A strong understanding of TCP/IP, routing, NAT, and VPN is essential, as are robust knowledge of security policies and logging mechanisms.

Basic familiarity with authentication concepts (LDAP/AD/SSO) and web/proxy protocols (WCCP, PAC) is beneficial. Experience utilizing ticketing tools and adhering to ITIL processes, coupled with excellent troubleshooting, analytical, and communication skills, are fundamental requirements for this role. Exposure to Azure/AWS and basic scripting/automation are considered advantageous.
