Join our team as a Packaged/SaaS Application Engineer, focusing on configuring and supporting packaged or SaaS applications. You will adapt features, manage releases, and ensure system stability, leveraging standard tools, APIs, and low-code platforms. Your work will align solutions with business needs while maintaining compatibility and performance.

Key responsibilities include deploying and configuring VMware HCX components across sites, supporting various VM migration methods, and managing HCX lifecycle operations. You will troubleshoot HCX interconnect and WAN optimization issues. This role also involves configuring and managing Mobility Optimized Networking (MON) for seamless VM connectivity, diagnosing network tromboning, and integrating with NSX-T constructs. Support for HCX deployments on cloud platforms like VMware Cloud on AWS, Azure VMware Solution, and Google Cloud VMware Engine is also expected.

Responsibilities include: - HCX Core Support: Deployment, configuration, and troubleshooting of HCX appliances and migrations. - MON - Mobility Optimized Networking: Configuration, management, and resolution of network extension issues. - NSX & Network Integration: Ensuring correct NSX Tier-1 to Tier-0 connectivity and validating NSX requirements. - Cloud Platform Support: Assisting with HCX deployments on cloud platforms and coordinating with cloud teams.

We are seeking an engineer with 3-7 years of experience in VMware virtualization and data center infrastructure. A strong background in VMware HCX deployment and operations (version 4.x preferred) is essential. You should possess a solid understanding of Mobility Optimized Networking (MON) and its role in preventing network tromboning on extended L2 segments. Deep knowledge of NSX-T constructs, including T0/T1 routers and distributed firewall, is required. Familiarity with VMware vSphere (ESXi, vCenter, vMotion, DRS), L2 network extension, and hybrid cloud networking concepts is crucial. Experience with VMware Cloud on AWS or Azure VMware Solution is a plus. Proficiency in network troubleshooting, including packet capture and routing analysis, is necessary.
