This role involves configuring and supporting packaged or SaaS applications, adapting features, managing releases, and ensuring system stability. You'll leverage standard tools, APIs, and low-code platforms to align solutions with business needs, maintaining compatibility and performance. The position requires a strong understanding of Laboratory Information and Execution Systems (LIMS) and Empower CDS, ensuring seamless integration and operational efficiency.

As a Packaged/SaaS Application Engineer, your daily activities will center on tailoring applications to meet evolving business requirements, managing software releases, and upholding system stability. You will work with various tools, APIs, and low-code platforms to deliver solutions that achieve organizational goals while ensuring cross-environment compatibility. Effective collaboration with stakeholders to define needs and adapt applications is integral to success.

Drive independent performance and develop into a subject matter expert (SME). Actively participate and contribute to team discussions. Provide effective solutions to work-related challenges. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and implement application enhancements. Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure optimal operation. Document all configuration changes and maintain accurate records of system modifications. Mentor junior team members by sharing knowledge and offering guidance on application best practices.

A minimum of 2-5 years of experience is required, with at least 3 years specifically in Empower CDS. Proficiency in Laboratory Information and Execution Systems (LIMS) is essential. Demonstrated strong understanding of software configuration management and release processes. Experience working with APIs and integrating third-party services. Familiarity with low-code platforms for customizing and extending application functionality. Ability to analyze system performance and implement improvements for stability. Good communication skills to effectively collaborate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Completion of 15 years of full-time education is a mandatory requirement for this position.
