As a Packaged/SaaS Application Engineer, you will be instrumental in configuring and supporting packaged or SaaS applications. Your role will involve adapting features, managing releases, and ensuring overall system stability. You will leverage standard tools, APIs, and low-code platforms to deliver solutions that align with business needs while maintaining compatibility and optimal performance.

This position emphasizes designing, building, and configuring intelligent agent-based solutions. You will contribute as a senior developer, supporting the development and deployment of Salesforce agents that meet diverse business requirements. A strong foundation in Salesforce development and practical experience with Agentforce capabilities are essential for success in this role.

Key responsibilities include designing, configuring, and implementing Salesforce agents using Agentforce and Agentforce Vibes. You will build agent workflows, prompts, and orchestration logic, alongside developing supporting Salesforce components with Apex, LWC, and Flows.

Collaboration with functional teams to grasp agent use cases and integrating Agentforce with Salesforce data and external systems are also core duties. The role involves participating in technical discussions, solution design activities, and adhering to Agentforce implementation standards and best practices. You will also assist in testing, deployment, validation, defect resolution, documentation, and continuous learning of new Agentforce features.

This role requires a minimum of 3 years of experience, specifically 3–5 years of Salesforce experience. Essential technical skills include strong Salesforce development fundamentals, with hands-on experience in Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), and Salesforce Flows. Basic exposure to Agentforce and Agentforce Vibes is also required.

A solid understanding of conversational AI fundamentals, experience with Salesforce APIs and integration techniques, and knowledge of Salesforce security, sharing models, and governor limits are necessary. The ability to develop maintainable and scalable solutions, coupled with strong problem-solving and communication skills, is crucial. Mandatory certification is Salesforce Platform Developer I, with Salesforce Administrator and Agentforce Specialist (or in progress) being preferred. Salesforce AI Associate is also preferred.

Furthermore, exposure to Agentforce implementation projects and experience working in Agile teams are advantageous. A requirement of 15 years of full-time education is also specified.
