Join our team as a Packaged/SaaS Application Engineer and play a key role in configuring and supporting packaged or SaaS applications. You'll adapt features, manage releases, and ensure system stability using standard tools, APIs, and low-code platforms. This role focuses on aligning solutions with business needs while maintaining compatibility and performance.
As an engineer, you will be expected to work independently and become a subject matter expert. Active participation in team discussions and contributing to problem-solving are essential. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, implement enhancements, and monitor application performance to ensure system reliability. Documenting changes and maintaining a knowledge base will also be part of your responsibilities, along with mentoring junior team members.
Configure and support packaged or SaaS applications to meet evolving business needs. Manage application releases and ensure the overall stability and performance of the system. Utilize standard tools, APIs, and low-code platforms for solution development. Collaborate with stakeholders to align technical solutions with organizational goals. Monitor application performance and troubleshoot issues proactively. Document configuration changes and contribute to the knowledge base. Share expertise and provide guidance to junior team members, promoting best practices.
A minimum of 2 years of experience in ServiceNow development is required, with proficiency in Flow Designer, Reports, and Dashboards. A strong understanding of the ServiceNow platform, including its configuration options and integration capabilities via APIs and web services, is essential. Experience developing and customizing workflows using low-code tools is also crucial.
Familiarity with release management processes and version control for packaged applications is expected. Excellent problem-solving skills are necessary to efficiently diagnose and resolve application issues. A 15-year full-time education is a prerequisite for this role.
