The GCP Outcome Customer Engineer (OCE) role is pivotal in driving initial and ongoing customer business ramp-up. You'll be responsible for removing obstacles and accelerating the realization of customer benefits. By leading technical aspects of deployment and transitioning workloads to production, you'll directly influence customer velocity, consumption, and adoption, paving the way for future expansion. This position requires a blend of sales acumen, market insight, technical engagement, and project management expertise to showcase the power of the Google Cloud portfolio.

Develop and manage comprehensive, end-to-end deployment plans involving customers, professional services, and partner teams. This includes onboarding implementation teams, proactively addressing blockers, meticulously tracking timelines and progress, and ensuring all readiness aspects like capacity and training are met.

Leverage coding, debugging, and systems design skills to overcome technical challenges and expedite deployment processes. Proactively manage and monitor the ramp-up of initial and subsequent workloads, ensuring a swift transition from agreement to active consumption.

Identify opportunities for new workload expansions within existing accounts during project execution. Foster sustainable product usage to ensure customers continuously derive value, securing ongoing contract renewals and long-term partnerships.

A Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience is required. A minimum of 10 years of experience in cloud-native architecture, preferably in customer-facing or support roles, is essential.

Demonstrated experience in deployment planning, orchestration, and change management is crucial. Proficiency in programming languages, debugging, and systems design is necessary for resolving technical blockers.

Proven ability to engage with, present to, and influence technical stakeholders and executive leaders. Experience in architecting and selling solutions related to infrastructure modernization, networking, security, and application modernization is key. Preferred qualifications include experience with Google Cloud products, data management, data analytics, AI, and object-oriented programming languages like Python and Java.
