Join Google Cloud as an Outcome Customer Engineer (OCE) specializing in GCP for the Retail sector. This role is pivotal in accelerating customer business ramp-up and ensuring they maximize their cloud investment swiftly.

You will lead deployment plans and transition scoped workloads into production, offering technical leadership to both customers and partners. Your contributions will directly influence customer workload velocity, consumption, and value realization, paving the way for future expansion.

This position requires a blend of sales acumen, market insight, technical engagement, and project management to demonstrate the extensive value of the Google Cloud portfolio. Google Cloud empowers organizations globally with enterprise-grade solutions leveraging cutting-edge technology, enabling digital transformation and sustainable development.

Develop and orchestrate comprehensive, end-to-end deployment plans, collaborating with customer, professional services, and partner teams. This includes onboarding implementation teams, proactively addressing blockers, managing project timelines, and ensuring operational readiness through capacity planning and training.

Utilize coding, debugging, and systems design expertise to overcome technical hurdles and expedite deployment processes. Drive and meticulously track the progress of initial and ongoing workload ramp-up, facilitating the swift transition of customers from agreement to active consumption.

Proactively identify opportunities for new workload expansions within existing accounts during project execution. Foster sustainable product usage to ensure customers continuously realize value and secure future contract renewals.

A Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience is required. Candidates must possess at least 10 years of experience in cloud-native architecture, with a focus on customer-facing or support roles.

Demonstrated experience in deployment planning, orchestration, and change management is essential. Proficiency in programming languages, debugging, and systems design is also a key requirement. The role demands experience in engaging with, presenting to, and influencing technical stakeholders and executive leaders.

Additionally, experience in architecting and selling technical solutions for infrastructure modernization, networking, security, and application modernization is crucial. Preferred qualifications include familiarity with Google Cloud products and their competitive advantages, as well as experience in architecting and selling solutions in data management, data analytics, and AI. Experience collaborating with product and capacity teams, and proficiency in object-oriented programming languages like Python or Java for unblocking customer deployments are advantageous.
