This Senior Consultant role focuses on Oracle HCM Cloud, with a specialization in Oracle Payroll and Fast Formulas. You will be instrumental in designing, developing, and supporting robust payroll solutions, crafting advanced formulas, and resolving complex payroll issues. Collaboration with cross-functional teams is key to delivering high-quality Oracle HCM Cloud projects.

As a Senior Consultant, you will design, develop, and maintain Payroll Fast Formulas for earnings, deductions, absence, proration, elements, and validation rules. You'll configure and support Oracle HCM Payroll modules, including Elements, Balances, Payroll Flows, Costing, and QuickPay. Analyzing payroll results and logics to troubleshoot issues will be a core function. Crafting and optimizing Fast Formulas to meet intricate client payroll demands is essential.

You will participate in end-to-end Oracle HCM Cloud implementations and enhancements, translating client requirements into scalable Oracle Payroll solutions. Support for data conversion activities, such as element entry uploads and costing data mapping, will also be part of your role. Collaboration with integration teams on HCM Extracts, HDL, and OIC, and building OTBI/BI Publisher reports for payroll reporting needs are expected.

Providing L2/L3 support for payroll issues and leading UAT, regression, and parallel testing cycles are crucial. You will also be responsible for documenting configurations, solution designs, and operational procedures. Mentoring junior consultants on Payroll and Fast Formulas, coordinating with functional leads and client teams, and contributing to best practices and project documentation are key aspects of leadership in this role.

We are looking for candidates with hands-on experience in Oracle HCM Cloud Payroll configuration and strong expertise in Fast Formulas across payroll, absence, benefits, HCM Extract, and elements. Knowledge of HDL, HCM Extracts, Payroll Flows, and Calculation Cards is required, along with a solid understanding of payroll legislative rules and statutory compliance. Experience with BIP, OTBI, and SQL for troubleshooting is necessary.

Functional understanding of Core HR, Absence Management, and Time & Labor is beneficial. The ability to analyze payroll issues and propose effective solutions, coupled with knowledge of payroll processes like payroll run, costing, retro-pay, and tax calculations, is important. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent communication and client-facing abilities, and the capacity to work independently and manage priorities are essential professional attributes. Experience with Agile or Waterfall delivery frameworks is preferred.
