This team focuses on advanced Oracle Database technologies, including RAC, Exadata, high availability, disaster recovery, and performance tuning. You'll collaborate with experienced professionals to tackle complex database challenges, enhance system reliability, and deliver superior customer support.

This role is for a seasoned Oracle Exadata / RAC DBA Architect, providing expert technical support, administration, troubleshooting, and architectural guidance for enterprise Oracle database systems. You will be instrumental in resolving intricate production issues, implementing system upgrades and migrations, optimizing database performance, and working directly with our valued enterprise clients.

This position requires a commitment to a customer-facing technical environment, including participation in 24x7 rotational shifts and adherence to US working hours. The role is based in our Bengaluru office.

Leverage your expertise to provide architect-level technical support for Oracle RAC and Exadata environments, diagnosing and resolving complex issues related to databases, clustering, storage, and availability.

Manage the full lifecycle of Oracle databases, including installations, configurations, upgrades, migrations, and patching, ensuring optimal stability, security, and operational efficiency.

Implement, administer, and troubleshoot Oracle RAC, Data Guard, ASM, and RMAN backup and recovery solutions to guarantee robust business continuity.

Proactively monitor database performance, identify bottlenecks, analyze diagnostic data, and recommend effective tuning and optimization strategies.

Engage directly with enterprise customers to understand their technical challenges, provide expert recommendations, and deliver timely, effective resolutions.

Lead the technical investigation of high-priority production incidents, coordinating with internal engineering and support teams to drive swift resolutions.

Develop comprehensive troubleshooting guides, technical documentation, knowledge articles, and best practices to enhance overall support effectiveness.

Participate in rotational shifts, including night shifts and US timings, to ensure continuous support for critical Oracle database and Exadata environments.

A minimum of 10 years of hands-on experience in Oracle RAC database administration, Oracle Engineered Systems administration, or database architecture is essential.

Demonstrate strong expertise in Oracle Real Application Clusters (RAC), covering configuration, administration, troubleshooting, and high-availability operations.

Possess advanced knowledge of Automatic Storage Management (ASM), including storage administration, disk group management, and troubleshooting.

Showcase practical experience in configuring, administering, monitoring, and troubleshooting Oracle Data Guard environments.

Have strong hands-on experience with Oracle Recovery Manager (RMAN) for database backup and recovery procedures, including restoration scenarios.

Exhibit a proven ability to investigate and resolve complex Oracle database issues using diagnostic tools, logs, and performance analysis.

Bring experience with Oracle database lifecycle management, including installation, patching, upgrades, and migrations.

Strong customer-facing technical support experience is required, including leading troubleshooting discussions, providing proactive recommendations, and ensuring effective issue resolution.

Excellent communication and collaboration skills are necessary to clearly articulate complex technical findings to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Must be willing to work night shifts, US timings, and participate in 24x7 rotational support schedules.

Good-to-have qualifications include hands-on experience with Oracle Exadata Engineered Systems, knowledge of Exadata hardware/software (X8, X9M+), Oracle GoldenGate, Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI), Zero Data Loss Recovery Appliance (ZDLRA), and advanced database performance tuning.
