Birlasoft seeks enthusiastic fresh graduates to join our Planning Consulting team as Planning Functional Consultants. This role is perfect for individuals with strong analytical skills eager to build expertise in enterprise planning platforms and AI-enabled decision support. You'll contribute to digital transformation initiatives across various planning domains, including Supply Chain, Demand Planning, Production Planning, Financial Planning, and Sales & Operations Planning.

Engage with clients to understand their business processes and planning requirements.

Participate in the design, configuration, testing, and implementation of planning applications.

Analyze business data to prepare functional specifications and reports.

Support user acceptance testing (UAT), training, and post-implementation activities.

Collaborate effectively with business users, technical consultants, and project managers.

Document business processes, solution designs, and user guides.

Assist in troubleshooting functional issues and recommend process improvements.

Continuously learn emerging planning technologies, AI capabilities, and industry best practices.

We are looking for candidates with a BE/B.Tech degree in any engineering discipline and an MBA in Operations, Supply Chain, Business Analytics, Information Systems, Finance, or a related specialization. Candidates with dual qualifications (BE + MBA) will be highly regarded.

Essential skills include strong analytical and logical thinking, a good understanding of business processes, and excellent communication and presentation abilities. Basic knowledge of Supply Chain, Operations, Finance, or Business Planning concepts is required, along with proficiency in Microsoft Excel and data analysis tools. A willingness to learn enterprise planning platforms and cloud technologies is crucial.

Preferred candidates will demonstrate curiosity and practical knowledge of modern AI tools and digital productivity platforms, such as Generative AI (ChatGPT, Copilot, Gemini, Claude), effective prompt engineering, AI-assisted data analysis, and a basic understanding of AI agents and automation. Responsible AI usage and maintaining data confidentiality are paramount. This role is ideal for individuals who can work collaboratively in a fast-paced consulting environment and leverage AI tools to enhance productivity and outcomes.
