This role involves supporting large-scale Oracle EBS environments across on-premises and cloud deployments. You'll tackle complex technical challenges, including EBS migrations to OCI, database upgrades, high availability, and performance tuning, contributing to the development of next-generation platforms in a collaborative international setting.

Key responsibilities include overseeing Oracle EBS database administration and OCI implementation, identifying areas for improvement in performance, scalability, and availability. You will ensure adherence to database standards, cloud architecture guidelines, and operational processes across all environments.

Act as the primary technical escalation point for EBS database and OCI-related issues for mission-critical systems. Drive end-to-end database and application migrations from on-premises to OCI, guiding teams through design, execution, and stabilization phases. This includes making technical decisions, designing solutions, optimizing environments, and supporting implementation activities.

Collaborate closely with Cloud Infrastructure teams on instance provisioning, virtual network design, routing rules, security configurations, and database deployments. Maintain database configurations, operational guidelines, and technical documentation aligned with enterprise standards. Support database upgrades, patching, maintenance, and performance tuning for Oracle databases on-premises and OCI.

We are seeking a Senior EBS DBA / OCI professional with 2-6 years of experience architecting, designing, implementing, and supporting highly distributed applications. Extensive experience with at least one Public Cloud platform (Oracle, Azure, or Google), with a strong preference for Oracle Cloud, is required.

Proficiency in Oracle Database upgrades (9i/10g/11g to 12c/18c/19c) and SQL Server DBA experience (SQL Server 2008–2019/2022) is essential. Experience with OCI networking, security, and database services, along with production support and cross-platform migrations on Cloud, is crucial.

Qualifications include a B.Tech, M.Tech, MCA, or MBA. System administration experience with Linux and Solaris is also required. You should possess strong communication, analytical thinking, and teamwork skills, with a self-starter attitude and meticulous attention to detail. The ability to create technical Proof of Concept (POC) documentation is also valued.
