This position offers a unique opportunity to collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams, contributing to database platform architecture, provisioning, configuration, deployment, performance optimization, and release management. Ideal candidates possess a strong blend of hands-on Oracle Database and Engineered Systems experience, coupled with robust Linux administration, troubleshooting, and scripting skills.

As a Site Reliability Engineer, you will: - Oversee the implementation, maintenance, and operational support of critical database infrastructure and cloud platform services. - Diagnose and resolve complex hardware, operating system, and database issues, including performing root cause analysis and implementing preventive measures. - Deploy, configure, optimize, and troubleshoot Oracle Engineered Systems and Oracle Database technologies such as RAC, Data Guard, ASM, and RMAN. - Develop Python and shell scripts to automate operational tasks, minimize repetitive work, and enhance service recovery. - Monitor system health, identify performance bottlenecks, and support capacity planning for optimal database and infrastructure performance. - Contribute to the architecture, provisioning, configuration, deployment, and release engineering of database cloud services. - Collaborate with distributed engineering teams to enhance platform services and improve operational processes. - Uphold security and network infrastructure best practices while continuously refining monitoring and production resilience.

We are seeking engineers with: - Proven experience deploying, optimizing, maintaining, and troubleshooting Oracle Engineered Systems. - Strong knowledge of Oracle RAC, Data Guard, ASM, RMAN, and database performance tuning. - Solid experience in administering and troubleshooting Linux environments (e.g., Oracle Linux, RHEL). - Demonstrated ability to diagnose complex production incidents, restore services, and conduct root cause analysis. - Practical experience with Python and shell scripting for automation. - Experience supporting production systems with a focus on availability, monitoring, performance, and stability. - Excellent analytical troubleshooting skills and effective collaboration abilities.
