Key responsibilities include managing Oracle Database, Oracle Applications, and Fusion Middleware/WebLogic environments. You will implement and coordinate changes across infrastructure, database, middleware, and application layers. This involves installing, configuring, patching, and upgrading Oracle WebLogic and Fusion Middleware, along with supporting highly available Oracle environments.
You'll also handle multi-node application environments, Oracle Applications 11i/R12 administration, and database/platform upgrades. Experience with Fusion Middleware products like SOA and OBIEE is crucial. Additionally, you'll configure connection pools, JMS, and SSL, deploy applications, and implement Disaster Recovery solutions. Automation using Python and shell scripting, along with Linux/Unix administration, is essential. Cloud platform expertise, including OCI, Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud, is highly valued.
We are seeking candidates with a minimum of 5–6 years of relevant hands-on experience in Oracle Applications, Database, and/or Fusion Middleware administration. A strong background in infrastructure installation, configuration, administration, and production support, with a focus on Oracle Fusion Middleware/WebLogic and Oracle Applications environments, is required.
Candidates should possess a combination of Apps DBA and Fusion Middleware skills. A BE/MCA or equivalent qualification in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline is necessary. Excellent communication, troubleshooting, and interpersonal skills are vital. The ability to work independently in customer-facing roles and manage 24x7 shifts, including weekends, is also a requirement.
